Colour printing
OKI printers have become the automatic choice for colour label printing due to their robust build and simple paper path. We have been working closely with OKI for many years and would recommend the OKI C711 as the best printer to use.
The printer comes with a network card as standard (C711n) and can also be bought with a duplex unit for the automatic double side printing of documents and certain label types (C711dn). The C711 can print our full range of labels including 250 micron stick-ins. It can print at class leading speeds of up to 34 pages per minute colour and 36 pages per minute mono at 1200 x 600 dpi. The C711 uses award-winning LED single pass print technology which requires less user intervention and offers a very simple and straight paper path which minimises any risk of paper jams. As well as printing stunning colour labels OKI printers are also general office printers which can be used for all of your normal printing. You can also use them to print a wide range of specialist media such as business cards, menus, flyers and leaflets.
Thermal printers
If you don’t need colour labels why not consider a thermal printer? For speed and low running costs they can’t be beaten.
The most popular thermal printer we sell is the Toshiba Tec B-SA4. It is available with 203dpi or 300dpi print heads and with a plastic or industrial metal outer casing. It prints at speeds of up to 6” per second and has a USB port as standard for easy connectivity.
The B-SA4 print head is 4” wide so it can print stick-in labels up to 115x25mm wide edge leading. Self-tie labels are rolled narrow edge leading either 3 or 4 labels across. It can also print a wide range of self-adhesive labels up to 100x150mm in size. All print is incredibly durable and will last at least a year in normal outdoor conditions.
